Kendall Cook

Coach

As a Pre & Post Natal coaching specialist, I am certified to train women at every stage of pregnancy and love helping women return to exercise postpartum! I also love working with beginners and clients from all age groups.

Outside of the gym, I spend my time going for long walks and hikes outdoors, taking a spin class, discovering new local restaurants (I consider myself a “foodie”) and cooking!

I am a huge science geek, and even named my cat after the father of evolution himself-Charles Darwin (Darwin for short). Ironically, they even share the same birthday!

My favorite coaching moments are when my clients feel excited and accomplished about their progress. It makes me feel amazing when I know my clients are leaving here happy and confident. I get just as excited as they do for every win they have in the gym and in life!

Caleb Lemmo

Caleb Lemmo

Coach

I specialize in helping people build muscle and gain strength on compound movements. When I’m not chasing the pump in the gym, I like to rock climb, train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and spend time exploring nature. I play guitar and bass and I’ve played guitar in bands since I was about 15 years old. I *try* to meditate everyday and have done a week long silent retreat!

My favorite coaching moments are helping people feel confident in compound movements that felt awkward or intimidating at first (I’m looking at you, RDL’s) and helping people set personal records.

Coach

With 10 years of USA swim coaching experience, I specialize in youth and endurance athlete training. The longer I’ve coached at Paragon, I have come to realize my ideal client is anyone who likes to set challenges and goals for themselves (no matter what they are) and aren’t afraid to push themselves to meet those goals.

Outside of the gym, I love to swim, hike and cycle. I also make time to do yoga at least once a week and play sand volleyball during spring-fall. I enjoy anything outdoors! I’m obsessed with my dog Murphy- he is perfect. My favorite way to unwind is watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I will nerd out on anything Star Wars. I also love to bake! It’s my favorite thing to do, especially when I’m stressed.

My favorite coaching moment is when a client hits a goal they have been working towards. I especially get excited when women want to get strong and start to see progress in their strength and abilities.

Jan Tyler

Jan Tyler

Coach

Jan is a part-time coach and lifetime Paragoner! She has trained with Adam for over 10 years! We wouldn’t exist without her professional experience – she helped Paragon from the very beginning. She loves working with beginners, and those returning to exercise after surgery. You’ll typically see her when a coach is out of town, or coaching intro sessions.

Kristen Soinski

Kristen Soinski

Wellness + Engagement Coordinator

I love helping clients gain a better relationship with their body and food through inclusive, empowering coaching. I also enjoy helping people gain athleticism through strength training and programming.

Outside of the gym, I love to work on my garden, train for long distance races, and cooking/baking. Nutrition is a passion of mine, so I am always in the kitchen trying or creating a new recipe! I really enjoy seeing live music and try to go to a few live shows a month. Some of my favorite shows I have been to recently are Paramore, Marcus King, Palace, Still Woozy, The Sheepdogs, and Pinegrove.

My favorite coaching moment is seeing clients crush an exercise they didn’t realize they were capable of doing!

Coach

I train people of all ages, from 9 years old to 90. I specialize in athletic development but also enjoy coaching anyone who wants to get stronger and start exercising.

Outside of the gym I love to be outdoors, whether it’s going hiking or the beach to soak up some sun. In the winter, I love to snowboard when I can. My favorite coaching moments are when clients hit PRs after consistent effort put in, like doing their first pull-up or doing something they never thought was possible.

Christie McFarland

Christie McFarland

Co-owner & Training Director

I specialize in coaching adults experiencing pain and significant movement limitations, as well as folks aged 50+ focused on strength. My favorite coaching moment is helping women over 50 achieve their first floor push-ups.

Outside of the gym, I love to garden, backpack, practice ashtanga yoga, and trail run! I could answer any trivia on The Office, and love reading sci-fi. While you’ll catch me on the training floor daily, I’m usually the first person you’ll meet at Paragon. Don’t hesitate to schedule your free intro whether you’ve been training for a decade or just getting started- I hope to make you feel at home!
